Tagged Hidden Gem Spot. Straight away into the favourite spot ! Authentic baked lemon cake & their fudgy brownies. You can taste the freshness of all ingredients in your mouth. The Buttered Creamy Milk Chicken.. easily one of the best grilled chicken we ever had. The chicken is tender and juicy, well seasoned & paired perfectly with the buttered creamy milk sauce. The fries are crispy. Spanish Latte Love the aroma roasted coffee too. The cafe is crowded but the service is still quite fast! Totally recommended and will come here again !

Food is marvelous. We tried Buttermilk Basmathi Rice, Fish & Chip, Olio Oglio Prawn, "something" smash potato (we ordered because it looks good) and Mushroom soup. Our only comment are, not enough Buttermilk sauce.

I visited at 6 PM and really enjoyed the relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere. I ordered the tiramisu and the pulled beef sandwich—both were absolutely delicious! The food was not only tasty but also very affordable, which is the best combination you could ask for. Highly recommend!

A hidden little gem. If you're craving for good food or a simple good vibes cafe to chill at, do check this place out around Taman Melawati!..:) The food n friendly owner are the key star here, accompanied by a good vibes music playlist - 90s era kids can relate to them most of all. A special shoutout to the aglio alio presentation which truly stood out visually. All the food that we tried were delicious too. We had prawn aglio olio (portion was great, prawns were generous), buttermilk cream chicken rice (not bad! Buttermilk was flavourful), smash potato corncane (potato sides - can never go wrong) , sea salt brownies (kao taste), dirty butter chocolate (nice combo) and the ocean bloom cooler (lemonade with butterfly pea taste). For elderly, do note the indoor dining area is on the 1st floor so there will be some stairs. Otherwise there are also outdoor seating areas.

We had the pleasure of dining at The Running Beans and were truly satisfied. The dishes we tried – fish & chips, buttermilk chicken, and wagyu burger – were delicious, well-portioned, and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. The café provides a cozy ambiance with excellent service, especially the staff member who took our order – very friendly, approachable, and always guiding us with menu recommendations. Overall, The Running Beans is an excellent choice for quality dining with friends or family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Second time visit this cafe. Overall Good environment. Makan dan minuman sedap. Especially my favourite Spanish latte. Owner pun ramah.

Love the vibe here! Cozy and chill – perfect place to hang out with friends or just relax alone. They have a wide variety of drinks and food to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for coffee, or something to munch on, they’ve got it all. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely one of the best spots in Melawati to unwind. Highly recommend!
